Cartecay Bike Shop is a full-service bicycle shop located in the North Georgia mountains not far from the Tennessee and North Carolina borders. We are surrounded by parks, rivers, hiking trails, challenging road rides and 55 mountain bike trails.  With over 45 years of experience, we make sure that whatever you need - bikes, repair & maintenance, rentals, accessories, group rides, bike fit or trail advice - we have it with guaranteed GREAT SERVICE !

The Cartecay Bike Shop was started in 1989 by Mike Palmeri. Mike has been racing since age 9; first as a BMX rider, then road racer, then mountain biker.  He is also an Atlanta City fireman who cooks a mean calzone.  We have been helped over the years by a group of special people that share our passion for cycling, the great outdoors, and making friends.  Mike is a DT Swiss certified master wheel builder, suspension specialist, and a UBI certified mechanic.

Directions to the Shop from 515

Take Hwy 52 West to the downtown square. Turn hard right at the square and go 1 block north. Look for the BIG buffalo painted on a brick wall and turn left into a gravel parking lot behind the church. The shop is the third door on the left on Main Street. Look for our cool sign hanging in front of the shop.
