Upcoming Rides

Hi All,

We will be riding Bear Creek or Pinhoti 2 for the Thursday night ride.  Bear Creek for intermediate/advanced and P2 for beginners.  There will be someone to lead the beginner ride (probably me).  P2 is a little harder than Amadahy.  You will be climbing steady (not too steep) for about 20 – 30 minutes and then a long gradual, sweeping downhill (lots of fun) and return on gravel roads.  A total of about 9 miles.  We will meet at Gates Chapel Rd and Bear Creek at 6:30p.

Also, you guys might be interested in the New Belgium Tour de Fat in Atlanta this Saturday.  Mike, Todd, Gail and I are going to ride our cool classic bikes and dress ridiculously (practice for the Fun Bicycle Ride Saturday night)….  See, you forgot already – we are also leading the Fun Bicycle Ride Saturday in the 1st (2nd) Saturday on the Square in Downtown Ellijay.  Meeting in the parking lot next to the Bike Shop at 5:30p to decorate our bikes. The ride starts at 6p and tours downtown Ellijay and the new recreational trail at Harrison Park.  Afterward join the festivities downtown.  Weather permitting!
