When the night begins to shine - Cartecay Wednesday Night Rides
Birdseye view of getting ready to head out for this weekend's Saturday Social group ride. We meet at the shop at 9am every Saturday weather permitting for a fun MTB ride for all levels. Come and join us!
A clip from our Mountain Town recon ride last week. The top half of the trail is mostly ok with just a couple of spots to climb over or under. The bottom half has heavy tree debris and tree trunks across the trail. It will be a while before it gets cleared but we still had time to enjoy the beauty of the trail.
Irma had a major impact on our local trails, but the volunteers are out in full force. We give a big thanks to Chris and crew for their work on Bear Creek. Trees are still falling that were weakened by the winds and rain. On a good note, the trails at Bull Mountain are being readied for the Fool's Gold Race this weekend. Better weather is on its way!
New Cohutta hats are on their way! Hopefully they will get here before Hurricane Irma. We are wishing the best to all our Florida friends and families facing the storm!
