Signs of summer were all out this weekend! At Talking Rock, Team Cartecay Youth Mountain Bike Team had their first pre-season event and worked on skills. On Sunday, we had our Rocky Mountain/Yeti Bike Demo giving everyone a chance to try out the latest bikes and prepare to get their summer on. Stay tuned, because we have much more to come!
This Sundays Ride is canceled but please join us at our demo from 11-4pm at the Talking Rock Nature Preserve.
Here are a few of the cool bikes that showed up this week, the beginnings of a sick Yeti 100 build, including the Trust fork and a couple of sweet Devinci bikes. The Sabbath is ready to rip any pump track or jump line and the Django Ltd is a perfect machine for slaying the trails in North Georgia. Sorry these all have forever homes but we can get more.
Here is a map for Pinhoti Lodge. Please come and join us on Memorial Day.
Some of our Cartecay friends spent the weekend at ROAM Fest in Brevard for three days of fun with female riders and industry influencers! ROAM is the world’s only women’s mtb festival. If you every get the chance to attend one, don’t miss it.
The future is here, our bikes are getting very robot like. May the 4th be with you!!
Let’s hang out and eat some dogs and ride some trails! Join us at the Pinhoti Lodge at the base of Bear Creek and the Pinhoti trail. We will be grilling and chilling from 10-4, plus a lot of riding too. The cabin is at the 3-way intersection of Gates Chapel Rd., Shake Rag Rd., and FS90 Wilderness Trail. You are welcome to bring food and drop it off at the cabin before hitting the trail. More details to come. We hope to see you there!
It was a busy day at the Blue Ridge Trout Festival and our Cohutta 100 SAG Stop. We hope you had an epic Saturday because the weather was prime for riding!
